Since leaving Asahi Kasei some 20 years ago, Takeshi has been involved in farm management. He examines domestic and foreign agricultural issues from both a corporate and farmer perspective and is known internationally for this farm product safety management and agricultural ICT initiatives. In 2012 he set up Farm Alliance, a company that offers a new form of franchise agricultural services.
Japanese agriculture is starting to show signs of moving to a new stage. This new stage will enable values to be shared not only in Japan but with the world. AG/SUM is the first step towards this new stage.
