In 2013, Taizo launched "Eat Tohoku News", a magazine subscription service, with the goal of merging primary industry and information industry. The information magazine is sent out with local produce and is currently being published in 37 regions all over Japan. In addition to regular coverage, they developed the KAKAXI device to constantly monitor and gather farmland data. KAKAXI are currently based in the US.
We started shipping our products in November 2016. While we are based in the US, our roots lie most definitely in Japan. We hope Japanese producers will use our products and aim to collaborate to improve the value of agriculture.
