Shiro was president of Hinari Corporation, a special subsidiary of ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation April 2011 to March 2016 and was involved in cooperation between agriculture and welfare. In July 2016 Shiro established Nomaport Inc.and serves as its representative director. Focusing on cooperation between agriculture and welfare, Nomaport is working on expanding jobs for persons with disabilities and eliminating manpower shortages within the agricultural industry. Nomaport provides support to businesses wishing to enter into agriculture and welfare cooperation, helps people with disabilities find work, and trains in-house supporters.
I hope agritech will accelerate the collaboration between agriculture and social welfare.
