Reinhard Wolf (born 1960) is a native of Lower Austria and studied agricultural economics at Vienna's University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences ("Universität für Bodenkultur"), where he earnt a degree in engineering. He has worked at Raiffeisen Ware Austria (RWA; rwa.at/en/) and its predecessors since 1985. Among his duties, he has headed the company's agricultural operating resources business, including fertilizers and crop protection, as well as RWA's subsidiary Genol. He was appointed to RWA's management board in 2009, at which time he assumed responsibility for all agricultural business units and the group's energy business. Wolf finally became Director General (CEO) of RWA in March 2013. He also serves as a board member at BayWa (baywa.com/en/). Based in Munich (Germany), BayWa is RWA's sister organization in the agricultural cooperative sector with core competencies in global trade, logistics and complementary services covering the agriculture, energy and construction sectors. In 2016 Mr. Wolf was additionally elected as president of Intercoop Europe (intercoophg.com/eng/), an association of agricultural commodity cooperatives in Europe. Mr. Wolf is a also member of the management board at "Raiffeisen Lower Austria/Vienna" (a regional cooperative bank), Chairman of the Supervisory Board at "Garant Animal Fodder" and member of the Supervisory Board of "Raiffeisen Zentralbank" (a major European cooperative bank offering retail and corporate banking services across Austria, Central & Eastern Europe and Russia).
