Yoshikazu Goto

Mikkabi Agricultural Cooperative

Chairman

Born in 1955. Since graduating from university Yoshikazu has been involved in helping to run his family business - an orange orchard. In 2014 he was appointed head of Mikkabi Town's Agricultural Cooperative Association and as an agricultural cooperative officer, and he works on strengthening the Mikkabi Mikan brand. As a farm manager he strives to improve labor productivity by accumulating land, machinery, and facilities. Yoshikazu see the mass exodus of farmers from the industry as an opportunity, and is thinking about how agriculture in Japan should evolve from now.

Farming leads to food, which in turn leads to health and happiness. I hope AG/SUM will link these together.
