Masayuki Hirafuji

Hirafuji obtained his master's from the Graduate School of Agriculture, University of Tokyo in 1983 before obtaining a doctorate in Agriculture. Having worked at the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO) as a research chief he is currently a professor at the University of Tokyo's Graduate School. He is also a JST CREST "Agricultural Big Data" research representative. He proposes "excitement" that combines research, manufacturing, hobby and resorts.
My vision is for IoT, big data, and the exponential evolution of artificial intelligence to lead to the start of a new agricultural era.
