Born in 1965, Kazuhiro graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Kyoto University. He was elected as a member of the House of Representatives in 2000, and served as a Deputy Minister at the Cabinet Office (responsible for financial and administrative reform etc.) in 2011. He joined SBI Holdings, Inc.'s board of directors in 2014, and was appointed a managing executive officer in June 2015. He is also Representative Director of SBI Energy Corporation.
