Mitsuru graduated from the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Agriculture and joined Tokyo Mitsubishi Bank in 2002. In August 2005 he founded euglena, and in December 2005, euglena successfully produced euglena (Japanese name: Midorimushi) outdoors on a commercial scale, a first in the world. euglena tackles food issues and global environmental issues using Midorimushi.
I hope to create opportunities for open innovation with major corporations and university startups.
