Marius combines professional experience from four areas -- information technology (IBM), venture capital (Speedinvest), strategy consulting (Roland Berger) and development cooperation (World Bank) -- to the field of agriculture, currently by supporting Europe’s first corporate AgTech startup accelerator as a senior advisor and mentor. In his previous work, Marius led a team of international consultants that advised government authorities in Iraq on agricultural policy reform and data-driven agricultural extension services with the goal of reviving the country’s farming and food production potential, and performed due diligence analysis on AgTech innovations including geo-information systems and natural habitat assessment algorithms. He also regularly mentors startups from Europe and Israel that work on new business models and technologies ranging from digital farm management to smart irrigation systems.
I hope to collaborate with Japanese companies that wish to explore AgTech business and innovation opportunities.
