Hiroyuki was one of a number of comedians that took part in a year-long project that involved comedians living on a farm in Sendai and discovering the joys of farming and rural life. The comedians reported back on their experiences in an attempt to encourage young people to take up farming. Hiroyuki graduated from Yoshimoto Kogyo's NSC Tokyo School, a school for training comedians and entertainers.
