Born 1977 in the town of Yamamoto in Miyagi Prefecture, Hiroki Iwasa is the founder of and CEO of GRA Inc. He began his career as an entrepreneur while in university, and now runs 6 different businesses in Japan and India. Hiroki founded GRA with the intent of restoring his hometown, which had been greatly damaged from the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami. With his company’s cutting edge horticulture at its center, his life’s mission has become the recreation of rural areas around the world. He revolutionized the strawberry business with the development of the 1000 yen per fruit Migaki Ichigo strawberry, and is also the author of several books.
