Hiroki is an apple farmer from Aomori Prefecture. Although his parents were both salaried workers, his grandfather ran an apple orchard. After suffering a stroke his grandfather let on that his dream was for his grandson to take over the orchard and this spurred Hiroki into taking up farming. This year is his 10th year as a farmer. Hiroki is keen to build connections with university students and people from his own generation and he wants to make farming a sought-after career.
